Darlene Covington was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the oldest of six children and  the mother of four.  She is an ordained minister with a special ministry  to the hurting,  wounded and oppressed.

An avid soul-winner with a passionate heart for evangelism her many outreaches include: prison ministry, workshops and women’s conferences, Bible conferences and teaching for the less advantaged. Darlene’s love and compassion for wounded individuals played a role in inspiring her to write this book. She currently resides in Maryland.
